Versandavise (Advanced Ship Notices): Empfänger können sich auf den Wareneingang vorbereiten, indem sie genau wissen, welche Verpackungen (z.B. Paletten) ankommen.
Frachtbriefe: Spediteure und Zollbehörden erhalten eindeutige Informationen über die Art der transportierten Güter.
